JUNIOR TRAINING SQUAD
Our introduction to basic netball skills for young girls and boys aged 5 and 6 (born 2018 and later) will take place in Term 2 2024. Learn netball skills while having fun and making new friends!

WINTER REGISTRATION
Registrations for the 2024 Winter season are now closed. We are still looking for another 2-3 players in our 9U and 15U age groups. If you are interested, please email secretary@glengowrienetballclub.com.au.
For all other age groups please email secretary@glengowrienetballclub.com.au. to confirm whether or not a playing vacancy exists.
Winter Trials
All trials are compulsory and will be held over 2 to 3 weeks in January & February 2024.
All trials, with the exception of 15U's, will be held at Woodforde Family Reserve Sandison Avenue Park Holme 5043. 15U's trials will be held at Glengowrie Uniting Church Courts 33 Butler Crescent Glengowrie 5044.

8U's - Sunday 28th January, Sunday 4th February, and Sunday 11th February 2024 3:30pm to 4:30pm
9U's - Sunday 28th January, Sunday 4th February, and Sunday 11th February 2024 4:45pm to 6:00pm
11U's - Sunday 28th January, Sunday 4th February, and Sunday 11th February 2024 6:15pm to 7:45pm
13U's - Monday 29th January, Monday 5th February, and Monday 12th February 2024 5:30pm to 7:00pm
15U's - Wednesday 7th February and Wednesday 14th February 2024 6:00pm to 7:30pm
17U's/Opens - Monday 29th January, Monday 5th February, and Monday 12th February 7:15pm to 8:45pm
COACH, MANAGER, AND UMPIRE APPLICATIONS
Coaches, Managers, and Umpires are required for each team for the Winter season. If you are interested in these roles please indicate where prompted during the registration process. You can also register as a Coach, Manager, or Official via PlayHQ. There is no cost to register as a Coach, Manager, or Official
AGE GROUPS
Ages for all grades are calculated to the 31st December each year.
- Players born in 2018 or later are eligible for the Junior Training Squad (held in Term 2)
- Players born in 2016 and 2017 are eligible for “8 & Under”
- Players born in 2015 are eligible for “9 & Under”
- Players born in 2014 or 2013 are eligible for “11 & Under”
- Players born in 2012 or 2011 are eligible for “13 & Under”
- Players born in 2010 or 2009 are eligible for “15 & Under”
- Players born in 2008 or 2007 are eligible for “17 & Under”
- Players born in 2006 or earlier are eligible for Open Age (Senior) teams
Only where appropriate and in consultation with selectors and committee, a player may be given the opportunity to play in the age section above that dictated by their year of birth.
